Born in August 1999, Blayne Shamarin has always displayed a passion and aptitude for the performing arts. From acting in school plays at the age of 5, to performing at the prestigious 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, to being awarded best supporting actor in a high school production in the state of Washington at age 16, Blayne has always excelled in musical theater. He continued that excellence at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he graduated at the top of his class.
At age eight, Blayne picked up his parents flip video camera and began making short films with his cousin and friends. Writing, producing, directing, shooting, editing, and acting all at once… Blayne has continued with this passion into his adult life. Beginning in 2021, Blayne has produced eight short films of varying length, mastering different genres and filming techniques with each new entry. His first short film, “Someday I Will Leave” (fully written, produced, directed, shot, and edited by him) was nominated for best short film at the 2021 Seattle Film Festival.
